This is the format reference for Gate.io billing/account-statement CSV — where the file comes from, what each column means, and the export quirks that matter. Our parser reads the layout(s) below and converts it in your browser.

How to export the file
- Gate.io → Wallet → account billing / statement detail.
- Choose the CSV export covering your date range.
- The file is a balance-change ledger — the converter reconstructs trades from it.

amount | Amount field (asset-level bookkeeping). |

Format quirks
- It is a balance-change ledger, not a trade log — trades are reconstructed by grouping rows on action_data: the positive leg is what you received, the negative non-fee leg is what you spent.
- "Trading Fees" / "Trade Fee" rows sharing the action_data contribute the fee leg to the reconstructed trade.
- The action_desc vocabulary is quirky real-world English — "Order Fullfilled", "Dust Swap-GT Added", "Referral Superior Rebate" — the documented set maps; unknown actions stay visible as flagged "other" rows.
- Dust Swap rows pair "Small Balances Deducted" with "GT Added" into a dust-conversion trade.
- Timestamps are naive with no stated zone — assumed UTC and flagged once per file.
