Convert an Etherscan CSV to CoinLedger
working converterEtherscan’s per-address CSV gives you hash-level transaction history — but not CoinLedger’s columns. This rewrites it — the main transaction list, the internal-transactions list, and the ERC-20/NFT transfer exports — into the CoinLedger template, with gas fees mapped to CoinLedger’s fee fields. In-browser; nothing uploads.
How it works
- Export the file from your exchange or tool (Etherscan → your address → Transactions (or Internal Txns / Token Transfers) → “Download CSV Export” (bottom of the table).).
- Drop it above — the parser identifies the format and shows every transaction.
- Check the preview and notes, then download the CoinLedger CSV template file.
- Import it into your tax software and verify the totals.
FAQ
Which export does it take?
The “Download CSV Export” files on Etherscan (works on BscScan/PolygonScan/Arbiscan too — same layout): the Transactions list, the Internal Transactions list, and the token/NFT transfer exports. Each is detected automatically.
How does it handle failed transactions?
A failed transaction converts as a fee-only spend — the ETH that left was just gas, which is what the output reflects.
Token transfers don’t show a direction — how is that handled?
Keep your wallet address in the file name (e.g. "token-transfers_0xAbC….csv") — the parser uses it to tell deposits from withdrawals. Without it, rows stay flagged for review instead of being guessed.
Will contract interactions convert?
They convert as rows with their method labels; classifying complex DeFi calls happens inside CoinLedger after import.
Is my file uploaded anywhere?
No — parsing, conversion, and the download all run in this tab with JavaScript. You can disconnect from the internet after the page loads and it still works.
What are the free limits?
The preview shows every parsed row. Downloads are complete for files up to 100 transactions; larger files download the first 25 rows. A paid pack removes the cap.
