FAQ
Will my file’s columns be recognized?
The mapper knows the common spellings — date/timestamp, sent/received or buy/sell amount+asset, total/proceeds, fee. Columns it can’t map produce warnings, not silent drops — check the notes before importing.
My CSV has only one amount column — does it still work?
Single-leg files (amount + asset + a Buy/Sell type) convert; the counter-leg fills from your Total/Proceeds column when present and stays blank with a warning when not. Nothing is guessed from a price column.
What does the output look like?
Koinly's universal template columns: Date, Sent/Received amounts + currencies, Fee, Net Worth, Label, Description, TxHash — import it under Koinly's custom-CSV option.
Is my file uploaded anywhere?
No — parsing, conversion, and the download all run in this tab with JavaScript. You can disconnect from the internet after the page loads and it still works.
What are the free limits?
The preview shows every parsed row. Downloads are complete for files up to 100 transactions; larger files download the first 25 rows. A paid pack removes the cap.
